Winter blahs!!!

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the winters? I get a serious case of SAD around this time of year and it lingers until around mid-March. I want to just hole up in my room and do nothing. I want to just read or watch tv in my pjs with no one to bother me. A few years ago, we started going somewhere warm and sunny in late January or February and it was great. It gave me a does of spring to get me through the worst part. This year we are not going south. We aren't going anywhere! We decided to take our vacations in the summer so the kids wouldn't miss any school. So, now I need to get through my winter without any palm trees or sunshine. Yuck! I think I will have to hang pictures of the islands on my bulletin board at work and on my bedroom walls. Maybe that will convince me that I am actually anywhere but Pennsylvania in the middle of winter. And I will remind myself that if I can just hold out until summer.....Sunshine and Palm Trees, here I come!!!!!
